Hi all,
My ham fisted ‘engineer’* has broken the bleed screw that does down into the top of the filter housing (of the two Diesel engine filters). I have got the broken thread out so I just need a replacement. This (I think) has a 13mm head. Is there a technical word for this bolt and any recommended suppliers.

* to be fair he wasn’t rough but ‘it just came orf in me ‘and guvner’.

The one I’ve broken is a lot longer than that one - not that the length is of real importance (unless it’s too long of course). Mr Googlers link looks a lot more like it tbh.
Fair enough.
One of my concerns was that a banjo bolt might be too long.
The one in my link is M10. I assume you have checked what thread size your require.

I think I'd want to confirm that the joint washer should be copper. I doubt if it would be fibre but maybe aluminium.
