I am looking to get some replacement cockpit carpets for my Sealine S23. Can anyone on here recommend any companies that can do this.

I have so far looked at these:

http://www.teak-carpet.co.uk/

but at about £450 it will probably be out off our budget, which is a shame as I quite liked the idea.
Last time I bought a set of normal blue replacemnet carpets they were about £80.00 and lasted about 5 years, but now could do with replacing, but unfortunatley the company that supplied them are no longer trading.

I would also be interested in new deck carpet supplier please?

I have the Teak Carpet for my S24 being made at the moment in blue with white stripe. I appreciate you've mentioned that it will probably be out of your budget, but I'll post some pics once installed for everyones benefit.

Did you have all your cockpit plus cabin quoted against? I only ask as whilst the S23 has a longer cockpit than the 24 (difference is the bathing platform) I'm surprised it's £100 more than I'm paying, which includes a section for the cabin. Worth noting I'm not having the foot section at the helm covered.

they have since come back to me (teak carpets), and said that they did indeed make an error with the price, as they had included for templates and fitting.

the price is now nearer £260.00, so I am tempted a bit now

Hello All,

Roland here, MD of Trimnet LTD, the parent company of Teak-carpet.co.uk

Without complaining our carpet product has been really well received, but we are doing all we can to reach everyone.

As with all floor coverings you need to pay for the full amount of material used. When making contact with our sales teams it's best to try to provide reasonably detailed measurements and it can often be a case of more carpet works out to be a better deal for you than a smaller bit due to this wastage. Which was the case for you jct1981, your cabin carpet was really only a little more as we managed to squeeze into your wastage. We would love to see some pictures when you have installed!

Our sales team will work hard on the calculations to give you the best price depending on your patterns and offer ways to reduce the costs (such as making cuts on your patterns to reduce wastage). So try to give as much detail as possible!

It's not a cheap product though but it has been designed and produced for the boating world and will certainly last longer than the 5 years mentioned, we've heard several accounts where it has lived on the deck of a cruising yacht for over 10 years! It's primarily designed as an external carpet but these same properties make it perfect for inside too.

Also take a look at facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/teakcarpetuk/) and twitter (https://twitter.com/teakcarpetuk) for pictures of our recent work.

Any questions please feel free to contact me, I'm just learning how use this forum so you have better luck at reaching me at sales@trimnet.co.uk.

Best regards,

Roland Voller.

the carpets arrived last week and I fitted them this weekend. Very pleased with the quality and how they look and feel on the boat.

Would reccommend them to anyone:
