I would have thought an oscillating multitool with a fine tooth blade, or even a scraper type blade would work well. Good luck.Hi folks
I'm rebedding some of the planks on my deck, and I'm wondering what the best way to remove the old adhesive is.
Also anything that will back the caulking easier to remove.
Thoughts please? Has to be something I can get from usual places like screwfix etc.
Thanks

Using Nav instruments for Carpentry! FFS man!
I'm worried that using a multitool will damage the diamond mesh pattern underneath.
That bit is perfect, thank you for the suggestion. It's getting the sikaflex off the underlying deck that I'm worried about. The caulking removing tips for a multi tool are doubled over so that they will not gouge the base material. It the correct tool for the job if using a Multitool. Watch the video in my post.
A slight tangent to your question.
What adhesive are you using to re-bed the decking?
Copious
