I can't find info on how to remove this from shaft. There are 3 plastic covers on female threads to rear. Are those relevant?

Picture on Vic Cox's site but no info:

Remove those caps and you will find tapped holes into which you screw some bolts. Tightening these jacks out the conical sleeve that grips the shaft. I have the maker's instruction leaflet if you want a copy. (Remove the bolts around the rim of the sleeve first )

'Yes'. They are threaded 10mm.

Screw in a bolt into the holes to force the coupling's tapered collett (male) out of the housing (female). There is a slot in the collett which you can then get screwdriver into to open it up and the propshaft can be pulled out.

Although there are 3, I have found that using just one is adequate, unless the joint is corroded.

Coupling now off. But had to use a hub puller. Not sure how I would have done it if engine hadn't already been removed and I had space to work.

Problem seems to have been some damage to last inch of shaft which meant it wasn't wanting to slide out.

Having it off now makes it clear how it works. A diagram on the instruction leaflet would have been helpful.
