They leave them like that. It stops them drying out and when the lake comes up they don't bash about too much.
Some, who don't come down too often, fit covers.

That\'s not a photo it\'s a postcard

If it's not a postcard then it ought to be one. (Let's take a guess: a 35mm 22 or 24mm equivalent lens ?? )

Not bad, and nearly straight, though I'd trim a fraction off the top and shove a swan or something in the pond to give it some life. Oh dear; I'm back to my old ways.

It\'s a superb photo with all the qualities of composition

that make it something that you should sell to the postcard makers.

Caveat: You are posting evermore ethereal photos. Perhaps you should do a Dave Newbold and go 2 steps more /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Straight as a die. Measure it in Photoshop.
Mind you the lake shore is not an horizon so it doesn't have to be level.

Didn't like your advice much.......

He has some nice images.
But all that climbing stuff and ice and what-have-you? I don't think so.

Interesting to know if he sells much. I've never been tempted. There are loads of people up here thrashing about trying to sell images. It's a very saturated market.
