Regulator to Nanni engine

We would like to install a new alternator regulator on our Nanni 3.75 (21 HP) diesel engine, however we do not know what type we be should buy. We would be greatful for any advice on type and where to get it.

I agree with dickh. I have fitted an Adverk to my Nanni. Good people to do business with

I have a Beta BD722 which I believe is the same Kubota but marinised in Britain rather than in France as is the case with the Nanni. I had an Adverc installed and have been very pleased with it. The other one which many people advocate is the Balmar, but the enginer who fitted mine preferred the Adverc on account of its proven track record--it has been around for over 10 years, with refinements along the way.

Thank you for your reply. An Adverc regulator seems to be quite expensive. What do you think about Stirlings regulator ?
