Regulation of recreational boats in Caribbean states

Regarding UK VAT paid UK registered boats, where can I find out about tax and regulations for various Caribbean jurisdictions for a) keeping boat there; b) offering skippered charter? I imagine Guadeloupe and Martinique are same as France.

The scenarios you describe are very different keeping your boat in the Caribbean (in transit) is one, using it for charter is another with various things to consider like insurance, local competition, import duty…..
