Hi,
Just wondering if there is anyone out there that might be interested in doing some crewing during this season on a nice 39ft ketch.
I have no fixed plans at the moment, boat goes in the water end April, but as I'm not working I'm hoping to sail when the weathers right maybe to the Clyde or Ireland for a few weeks here and there.
If you are flexible with your availability, retired or between jobs, or have a job that is flexible that would be ideal as sailing depends on reasonable weather.
Basic experience would be good, but not absolutely necessary, no costs other than paying your contribution to food / beers etc, would probably choose to keep away from marinas on the whole to keep costs down, anchoring or harbours would be my preference.
PM me if interested, I am married and my wife may join on occassions.
Thanks,
(PS. I'm away most weekends, getting some major jobs on the boat completed before the launch, from Friday through Monday with no net access so I can't reply to any messages generally between these days. My wife is definitely understanding!)

Sailing

I would be interested in sailing along the Welsh coast, across to Ireland in particular.:)

I have come across your request for crew and am very interested. Although I have sailed many parts of Britain, and circumnavigated Ireland, I have not sailed along as much of Wales as I would have liked. Being retired I have the time to do so.
I tried to attach a CV. I trust that you get it.
I am actually doing my Yachtmaster course from the 15th of May, a much delayed event!
Should you wish to email me my address is pjguinan@btinternet.com.
My phone number is 01874 658396.
I hope to hear from you.
