My current gas stove is a Roden 4 burner, with grill & oven, an Australian make if you haven’t heard of one before and is about 20 years old. And is a bit knackered and properly doesn’t conform to current safety regs. I need to do something about updating it/replacing it. If I can I would prefer to keep the existing Roden stove as the galley has almost been built around the stove and fitting a new one will be expensive and required a degree of modification work.
My question is can an old cooker be updated by fitting new components, i.e. burners, controls, flame failure devices, repaint etc. And if yes any body out there who can do it, preferably in the North West or UK.

Thanks

Peter
