Refit Dehler 41DS

Hi fellow sailors!

I own a Dehler 41DS, and I need to take it for a refit. Can you give me some hints of where to go? I'm from Portugal, but I don't mind taking it abroad.

We have a Dehler 41DS too, and like all boats she has her ups and her downs.

As Dehler went bust and were then bought out by Hanse, things are a bit up in the air. It depends upon what you need to have done, but I believe that most of the work should be able to be done locally? Where are you? There is a nice Dehler agent in Portugal who might be able to help: JBaracho [jbaracho.dehler@mail.telepac.pt]. In the UK there is a Dehler owners group and Gavin may be able to help you source Dehler specific items. There is also a Dehler owners association in the Netherlands.

Hello there,
The Dehler 41DS is by far one of the best decksaloons around. A Judel Vrolyk design exceptional strong, safe and most of all fast sailing. Hardly anything can go wrong with the ship especially if you have wharf number 54 or more (amended keel, 600kgs more- windows in aluminum- cherry wood interior) So what for Pete's sake is so much to be done that you even consider to go abroad??
