Was sitting in Duncorque many years ago. On a windy night.
Checked our lines and barly noticed the two fishing vessels astern of us.
Checked an hour later. the inner one looked a bit funny. didn't give it much thought.
An hour later. noticed one fishing vessel astern of us. Funny I thought there was two. Im sure there were two. It looked a bit odd. Maybey I should go and check.
So I did. I went up on the quay and walked along to the fishing boats.
And there the inner one was compleatly sunk alongside the quay its mast 3 or 4 feet under and its green over white still burning bright.
Looking back its quite funny.
At the time it was all quite hectic trying to contact french athourities in the middle of the night when you only scored 9% in your last french exam and the only french you know is bonjour beer sil vous plait. and Jai dinna ken french pas.
The whole works eventualy showed up and determined there was no one on board.
