I tend to agree the the sentiments about Europe - from where I sit there does not seem to be much common ground - therefore to make it work we just end up doing whatever they say.
The issue of cost is one thing but has already been said there is a more practical dilema that needs to be resloved and clear guidance give to us.
If I go across to Europe I will, for safety sake leave with full tanks of presumably red as that is what is currently available at the marina (and currently "legal"). When I get there I will fill up with white but of course there will still be dye in the tank - so where do we go from there ?? As far as I am concerned I have obeyed the laws of both countries.
The politicians need to get there finger out and sort this - I for one will be planning a visit to the RYA stand at London for a bit of lobbying.
