Well a week into the cruise and no issues in Belgium or Holland the fuel in Holland is £0.70 a ltr in Kortgena marina much cheaper than our red.

VVW Nieuwpoort sounded the alarm bell this week in the press. Due to Belgian the red diesel policy they say they are seeing the numbers of British vistors reduced by half. According to the article the decision not to extend the exception for UK boats was made by the new minister of finance when the new government came in.

so i took on 59,91 lts for €87.47, should have bunlkered in Jos Boone :disgust:

It seems continentals also have a 'marine mark-up' for diesel.
Filled up the car in Belgium on Wednesday: €1.11/Ltr
And again today in Brittany: €1.17/Ltr
