just make sure you use stainless headgasket and brass freeze plugs and marine waterpump with stainless impeller

and refit the marine alternater and marine startermotor

Have to support this ... swapping a re-buildable engine out for a like-for-like re-built engine seems to be a bit OTT..., unless block is damaged.

Having the engine re-built to factory spec must be cheaper than just buying..., unless there is a viable part exchange scheme available..... and makes it equally reliable..
