Hi all,

Our winter cover for our 18ft speedboat recently ripped on a road trip and we are looking to replace before the great British winter sets in! Can anyone recommend what to go for?

There seems to be a multitude of covers for sale online however are you better off going for a PVC type cover or fabric? The last cover was a heavy duty fabric however as we did not own the boat last winter I am unsure of how effective it was.

Any advice on what to go for and where to buy most appreciated.

We have a grey one from Bembridge marine for the rib. Now 3 years old and despite blowing off once and landing in the ogin no problems. They are very heavy duty with thick elastic and loops every couple of feet for tying down. Deffinately worth the £165 to keep the rain and dust/leaves out of the boat . Material is sort of waterproof soft fabic.

I take it off to tow the boat having destroyed a previous cover when it flapped around.

Pete
