Have had a new canopy on order for nearly two years now, desite beening told it will be fitted it never turns up.
Have just come to the boat and found the old canopy repairs have given way so wil have to spend all afternoon repairing it again. Can anybody recommend some one in this area ,or out of area who will travel to do a replacement canopy.
The boat is at Newark.
Thanks

With service like that you should be telling us who not to use, I'd say Chris Potts at burton waters will sort you out, unless you know otherwise

I'd say with service like that it's more than likely the job is currently waiting for Chris Potts to do it...
We had similar experience a few years ago of his slow service. Gave up waiting after 3 months and went elsewhere.

When he eventually does a job the quality is excellent, (and everyone raves about it) but his service leaves a lot to be desired.
I think because he seems to get all the work in the Burton Waters / Newark / Farndon areas he's become too complacent. Or at least that was the case 3-4 years ago, his service may have improved since then with the downturn in the economy and less work about, perhaps he has to try a bit harder these days.

Another vote for Chris Potts.

He did ours at the back end of last year. We waited until he was a bit quieter towards the end of the year. Still had to keep badgering him but the job he has done is second to none and well worth the wait.
