We use them on large model aircraft that pull many many more amps than your inflator - it will be more than up to the task

Yep .... as my post #11 also mentioned ....

The XT90 is nice and large for grip ... the XT60 is more than enough .. even the XT30 will do the job ...

Thanks @Refueler and @Big-Bang1 I wondered what those where called. I have one on a massive lipo torch that drives some jump leads.

Now one little challengette with the Anderson plug idea is cable sizes. The Anderson lugs smallest cable size is 16mm2 which is a little large for inflators/bilge pumps etc...

So I am wondering how to downsize the cable from the lugs. I would assume use some 16mm2 cable crimped to the lug, then solder to the smaller stuff covered with liberal heatshrink to avoid any hard spots.
