I can only recommend Yachting24 in the highest terms, they provided exemplary support at a time when I really needed it. They have also agreed my single-handed status with no range limits.

That's good to hear. P'haps this is due to their very pleasant offices overlooking Plymouth Sound, at QAB, and their exemplary team ethos.

Addendum:

Thank you for your email.

The YACHTING24 system asks all of the questions required to provide a quotation, we ask some further underwriting questions if you wish to proceed to accept the quote. It should be noted that YACHTING24 policies do not have an annual lay-up period, allowing you to enjoy your boat for the full 12 month period of the policy.

Should you have any further questions please get in touch and we will be happy to help.

Hello Old Bilbo, my recommendation is GJW, I have been with them for some years now and recently had to make a claim and they were most efficient and easy to deal with, not only that, if your boat is an older one like mine have been they will often be happy with a Skipper's survey as in yourself. They will ask you the questions and you answer them truthfully after all, it is your life at stake if you don't. I'm based in the West Country too.
Cheers
Kevin
