Recent trip out on Fenland Dancer

The name is familiar, was she on the Broads/East Coast at some point? There was a boat with that name in our marina and IIRC it was a flybridge Princess.

I've just done my level2 PB course and recognised the scenery :)

We popped into Ocean village and Hamble point practising berthing. A four knot tide makes for interesting berthing :nonchalance:

Looks like you had a great day. Nice boat :encouragement:

It was a great day out on the water. A bit bumpy when we went West along the Solent, wind over tide, but when we turned East and were in the lee of the Isle of Wight it was pretty smooth. We've only had the boat a short while so still getting used to her :)

I think she came from Guernsey and since then has been in here in Southampton...

Oh, okay. Unusual name so I thought there might be some link.

Great vid btw and a lovely boat. We looked very carefully at the 368 when considering a change some years ago. Nicely proportioned boat and we did a trial on one in some very lumpy seas off Poole and were impressed with how she handled it. Didn't go for it in the end but that was because we decided against a flybridge as opposed to any issues with the marque. :)

Still trying to get to grips with the GoPro... We looked at a handful of other boats and non of them matched Fenland Dancer and although it took a while to get her it was well worth it. It's our first boat so a big learning curve as far as looking after her and using her! Hope to spend a good amount of time out on the water this year learning and building a skill set that will see us go further afield in due course.
