Any recommendations for 14m yacht? With the following as nice to haves, can live on boat on the hard, only for few nights. Can get to airport easily. Can work, minor, on own boat.

Thanks

Hello,
if regulations have not changed, "living on board and working on the boat while on the hard" rules out all public Andalucia marinas (possibly 90% of the total along that coast line), they had a couple of major accidents so they specifically forbid private individuals from accessing work areas except for very short periods (eg to close the hatches after lift out, still they wanted me to wear a protection helmet. For any work to be done, they will provide you a list of a few authorised firms/craftsman, those I used were quite good.
You may want to check their web site if there have been recent changes; there are also a few marinas not belonging to EPPA
Puertos de Andalucia

Chipiona, Rota and Cadiz area are all at reasonable bus trip from Seville international airport.

Isla Verde in Algecieras does all that.

Inside the custom zone so everything is duty free. You can stay on the boat, they got showers. A nearby truck drivers cafe has great cheap food. Fly from Gib.

The manager, Miguel (call me Michael) speaks fluent English and will organise whatever you want. Top yard I used to use it a lot.

What does this mean, please? Is it a bit like freeport?
Yes. A bit. The port at Algecieras is huge and is a fenced off customs zone. Isla Verde boatyard is inside so materials and services are vat (IVA in Spanish) free. We used to lift our school boats there and saved quite a lot.

You could also try Isla Cristina near Ayamonte good clean yard but can be noisy from bars in summer season. Prices etc on their web site
