really?.......

My thoughts exactly, I've just got into bed and can't stop thinking about it...must be 13300...I might have to prepare the wife for an impromptu trip to view tomorrow if it is correct...sell the dory, sell the speed boat... Job done..

Yep, worth about £8-12k depending on condition. Reckon it should be £13,300 but maybe worth a call to check? Had a 90 ETEC and loved it. An amazing engine all round!

Def. worth a look at £3k. But £13K way too much. I would have expected closer to £8 personally.

Nice little boat, good cuddy although small, they can take a good sea. Bit slammy in chop but good at anchor.
Interesting. :)

Seriously, I think I was too subtle above. Its a SCAM !

Engine on its own is worth 4k, boat is a well respected and popular fishing boat, if it was real it would have sold the first day it was advertised.

Seems to have moved from Edinburgh to London. My scam antenna is twitching.............

Hmm. I thought I had a problem with my system when I saw the location changing.

Still, it is shown on a trailor! :encouragement:

It reminds me of when I used to get stopped by police 3 times a week driving a 1956 MG Magnette from Dorking to Walton, Surrey; having visited my future SWMBO in the early 70s'.

When I asked why I kept being stopped, the 'Ossifer' said, "Well it is on a Scottish registration." To which I replied, "Wail eye think eye could have pushed it doon from there meeself in neerly 20 yeer!";)

Read the Ad it needs a new leg casing!

"one problem only is that when boat yard transferred the engine they over-tightened a bolt on the leg casing which meant we had to put a tie wrap on for security. This has been in place for 2 seasons with no problem."

My Etec did the same - it is almost certainly only the bolt on the outer plastic casing, which cracks the plastic and seems like a common problem. Mine was tie wrapped too, worked fine, and buyer when I sold was not concerned.

Advert is still fishier than a tin of sardines though!
