The first picture is what I lust after in my heart (the Aberdeen Line clipper SALAMIS. sister to the THERMOPYLAE, and in my humble opinion the most beautiful ship ever...) and the second two are of my faithful friend and companion for the past 26 years ... at least I can singlehand her!
Duckling is a Hunter 490. 16' LOA, lifting keel, designed by Oliver Lee, based on Loch Ken. Owned by my father since 1991, came to me when he retired from sailing in 2008.

1972 Van de Stadt Pioneer 10 "Rampion".
New to us this season she's undergone a complete refit. Maybe you'll see us around - hopefully not just in the Solent !
OK I've held off for long enough! Here's a pic of my Weston 8500, Mojo. The Weston was developed from the Varne 27/850 by adding a couple of inches to the coachroof and lowering the saloon sole to give headroom for those of us of normal height (< 6ft). Mine was built with a bigger, encapsulated lead keel and taller rig by the builder as his mate's boat was faster than his!
