Re wilding the sea bed!

Apparently the first major Seagrass rewilding project in the UK, Dale bay started back in 2019-20

It was criticised in the early days for a lack of very local consultation, and one Dale crab pot boat tried to scupper it by dragging a chain through, but it has led to a trio of visitor buoys to cater for shallow draught boats who might have previously used an area further inshore now marked as no anchoring, (which TBH almost dries at LW springs anyway).
People with 46’ fin keel boats complain that the moorings are too shallow, considering the 6m+ tidal range but they were never intended for them, they wouldn’t be that far inshore to get near the Seagrass.
