I did get an answer from Sea Ventures on this (you have to know who to speak to and have their mobile nos.)

Their answer was "we agree it's fantastically difficult and time consuming". The actual rail replacement sections are not expensive. Perhaps that's why you see so many boats in need of attention in this area. Sorry not to be more help but I don't think there's an easy answer.

Some plonker resurrects them after 13 years. They are guests because they no longer have valid logons. Toenail, should have gone to Specsavers.
