Just flicking through Boats.co.uk website to see what´s going on. They have a 1996 Princess 420 that has been re-engined with D6s and new gearboxes. Anyone able to give a ball park figure for what that must have cost?

I'd say 100k€ isn't far off. Pity they have put in the 370's though. Will make recovering the investment even harder.

Used D6 £8k, used gearbox £1.2k at coastal rides .
So for new items say double the cost and double again for the pair which makes it about £37k
Add £10k for the throttles and instruments , oh and its fly so x2= £20k
and £20k fitting
makes it £77k+VAT= £93k
..........................just a guess though.

Retail is £25,500 for each engine.
Add for fitting, instruments etc and MartynG has it right!
