It’s not funny , the gun boat HMS Delap is in dry dock in Stoke . Having a ceramic coat ,that is not recognised, in the Baltic.

HMS Belfast in its current condition is an excellent candidate to counter the Russian fleet.

First of all, due to its age its closer to the Russian counterparts. While far older, it's in much better condition.
To make things a bit fairer, I'd suggest assigning it a tug to occasionally ram it.

Being unarmed is a bonus,
the Russian fleet will most likely only target fishing boats and their own ships. Arming the Belfast will only increase the odds of accidents happening. (see Next paragraph)

Equipped with a very nice bar, ideally suited for gaining insights in the Russian mind.
Keeping the bar open bar 24/7, drinking encouraged, in order for the crew to better understand the enemy.

Last but not least, have the crew run around aimlessly while blasting the benny hill theme (yakity sax) to show the Russians you're serious and prepared.

(referencing the dogger bank incident, the Adm. kuznetsov aircraft cruiser and it's permanently assigned tug, the only "aircraft carrier" to be sunk by a drydock, and the recent video of a Russian assault using RIBs, go look it up, it's hilarious, entirely in line with the performance of the Russian navy throughout its history)

No one left in the Royal Navy who has ever punched a boiler sprayer, let alone blown soot - if you know you know, and without experienced stokers that ship ain't going anywhere !

It would a shame if it moved as there’s a very pleasant bar up a few steps above the entry office which makes it a pleasure to have a small beer or suchlike in good weather away from the crushing hordes of hays galleria etc. it’s also quite popular if budget permits for pre dinner cocktails .

A good read [or so I thought]:

Their navy has never been the same since they sacked my ancestor in 1792
