Raytheon Radar mount

I have just bought an old working Raytheon R40x Radar.
However, it did not come with a mast mounting.
Is there anyone who might know where to locate a Mast mounting for this dome, the mast dome is about 23 inches in diameter.

They don't come cheap now, do they? I think I will make one from Aluminium angle cost far less. Thanks for the help.

Try a rigger as they often get replaced on kit upgrades or for aesthetic reasons, the paint is prone to flaking off. A local powder coater should sort that out for you.

You could anodise at home. I've never processed anything as large as a radar mast mount - but all you need is a plastic box bigger then the unit, acid and a 12v supply. Lots of YouTube vids.

When you install, remember to add a lanyard from mast to the dome. The strut is designed to break if hit hard by a flogging sail and the new ones come with a steel lanyard that is meant to be screw to the mast. Its in the instructions. It might save your life!
