I've got a few raymarine instruments connected by seatalk which provides power and data transfer. I want to connect to my new autopilot (not raymarine) using NMEA.

The wind instrument manual helpfully suggests an 'appropriate interface', can anyone point me in the direction of such a thing?

Thanks

Thanks, seems its expensive to get industry standard data from my raymarine instruments!

[/ QUOTE ]Well, of course, they're not "industry standard", they're proprietary. Best I can suggest is £109 inc UK delivery for the E85001 from JG Technologies.

Or you could capitulate and buy a Raymarine autopilot. Thats what I ended up doing, and as a result I can sail to a constant wind angle as well as compass heading.

Thanks!

Very helpful!

They are ST60 but no i dont have a multi display output. I have already bought the Navman and i'm well into fitting it so to late to change my mind now!

The sea talk cable which carries power to the raymarine unit has data cables unused. Could i pick p NMEA here or is it in another format?
