Raymarine ST60 Wind Anemometer

Boat is on the hard in a cradle with the mast up. Noticed this afternoon that the anemometer (cups) wasn't turning. Boats around all had theirs turning.

To fix, what are the options?

I don't fancy climbing the mast when on the hard, guessing ~15m including cradle to top. Best guess is I'll need to wait till boat is back in the water?

If/ when I get the anemometer down is it a DIY fix to replace any bearings or free the cups?

There is lots of information on previous threads on the forum. I worked on mine earlier this summer following the information on the below thread. Bearings etc are readily available on ebay.

Is climbing the mast ever appealing? The fact that the boat is on the hard doesn't make any difference - if anything, it might be slightly more comfortable.

At least on the hard you don't have to worry about wash from passing boats.

Yes there is but it would be difficult to get near the boat due to others nearby...
