I have an ST60 speed instrument and need to remove the transducer for cleaning. I would therefore need a bung to put in place whilst I give it a good clean. However the bung I got from my local chandelry is different and they have not seen one like mine before.
My transducer is very similar but different, it is removed by sliding out a metal rod which is fitted at 90 degrees to the water flow, the transducer then simply lifts out without the need to unscrew the large nut.
Has anybody else got a similar arrangement and if so where can I get a bung for this type of transducer?
The transducer was fitted on the boat when I bought it so do not know its history.
