The title says it all, really.
Does anyone know if it's possible to replace the gray bezel of an ST60+ (round corners) with one from an ST60 (sharp corners)?
I'm obviously talking of instruments with the same buttons layout, i.e. four at the bottom.
I don't think it matters, but just for sake of accuracy, I'd like to swap the bezel of an ST60 Multi with an ST60+ Graphic.
TIA!

I’m just going though this at the moment
Bit of a saga
I replaced the ST60 bezel with a ST60 + (my 60 bezel was cracked) and all the screw are in the same place so that’s good. However the buttons, when pushed, pushed partially through the holes so I’ve now bought the button assembly (Hudson marine) and will take out to the boat in a couple of weeks. The buttons are a bit chunkier. The sun covers won’t fit so bought another couple of them at enormous expense.
If anyone wants 2 ST60 sun covers (now obsolete) let me know.

Heck, I didn't notice that at first sight, but I perfectly see what you mean, now that I look at them.

When you say that you bought a button assembly, you mean just the rubber bit on the right side of the pic below, I suppose?
I'm asking because the Graphic and the Multi happen to have the same button labels, so I could as well swap the rubber buttons, together with the bezel.
Which, as I understand, you confirm that is indeed swappable, correct?

Ref. the ST60 (non-plus) covers, I wouldn't mind keeping yours as spares - I'll follow up via email in a minute! :encouragement:

Yes indeed it is the rubber bit on the rhs
I can only assume that it will all fit at the moment so will only know for certain in a few weeks when I’m on the boat. If it all goes pear shaped I will have to revert back to my old (cracked) ST60 bezels so cant release my sun covers yet.

No worries, I already emailed you in the meantime, but we can keep that in standby for as long as you wish! :encouragement:

PS: coming to think of it, I will be able to confirm you the swappability (if such word exists...) of the bezel+rubber bit in a few days, just FYI. Stay tuned...

Hi D, good news.
Today I had the opportunity to try a bezel+rubber buttons swap between a non-plus Tridata and a plus Graphic, and it worked just fine.
In the upper part of the pic below you can see the buttons and bezels already swapped, but not yet closed.
The lower part shows the final result.
Mind, the buttons labels don't make sense anymore after this swap, because they are different between the two instruments.
But obviously if you swap the rubber buttons of the same instruments, also the labels remain consistent.
That's what I'm thinking to do eventually between a Multi and a Graphic, whose labels are the same - it was just easier for me today to make the check with the Tridata.

Btw, I also noticed that the non-plus sun cover fits also the plus bezel. Not perfectly of course, but it does fit decently.
So, if on this basis you should prefer to keep your non-plus sun covers, no worries, I understand that!
