Raymarine Radar playing up

any radar experts here? my 4Kw open array scanner (9 years old) seems to be playing up. Checked all the connections today and renewed all the cable connections at the scanner. But no luck. It appears to pass self test, so I think its talking to the E series plotter/display. If I display the scanner attributes it seems to come back with sensible numbers. But when I turn the scanner to ON, I get No Data Source error and the scanner is not rotating.

I had a quick look inside and all the toothed rubber belts look OK. But I can´t manually rotate the scanner.

Is it just jammed by gunge or is it bust ?

any clues welcome.

You should be able to manually rotate the antenna, you can slip the belt off and check if the motor or antenna is free to rotate.
