Raymarine or Raytheon old school radar dome?

While the mast are down I have paid charity money for a raymarine rd182 radar dome I guess dating from early 2000s? I have fitted à Raytheon dome and Raytheon RL70 display. It came with a e70(?) display but that is presenting as a purple toned display when powered up but should be able to check the radar dome works. But is there any benefit from changing the domes or are they basically the same? I fitted the Raytheon 11 years ago when I bought it secondhand. Not sure what model it is but it is a similar size. I don’t use it a lot but will run it when crossing the channel and at night especially when single handed and more so now I have some liFePo batteries. Is it worth changing? Thanks for your time.

the older they are the more power they consume. newer ones have far less draw. Even an E80 and associated radar now is 20 years old tech.
