Raymarine ethernet switch

Raymarine supply a switch to allow several HS Ethernet connections so you can run two chartplotters together whilst receiving common information. Could l use a Maplin version? The price difference is incredible!

You can use any 100Mbs Ethernet switch. I'm using this one:

Really nice as it runs on any voltage between 9.6 and 32 Volt and it's rail-mounted. Never had an issue with it.

I ise a standard Netgear hub. I did make a stabilised power supply to avoid any issues but the solution above looks better.

That's probably better than whatever Raymarine supply
