We have treated ourselves to a Raymarine Elements chartplotter in the cockpit, professionally installed. It came with a Navionics card, with one area with a free one year platinum subscription. I should be able to plot routes on my phone (my original phone subscription has expired) and they then are sent to the chartplotter. I'm unable to pair my phone to the plotter, I get so far, the phone sees the plotter, and then my phone asks for the password. There is no mention of wifi password in the Raymarine manual. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S10.

Details on connecting mobile devices are in the Lighthouse (Operating System) manual.

I found them on page 44. You can set the passphrase yourself.

Gah! Is about selecting the chart. With regards to the tabs I don't have the wifi tab, the tabs stop at import export. I can get back to the boat shortly and will try a factory reset. I think the unit may be faulty :( Many thanks again

Got a quick but disappointing reply to my email to Raymarine Tech support. The Element wifi is not designed to connect to a mobile device
