Raymarine C80 Date Error

This appears to be a common problem but I’d like to ask, is the error caused by the antenna (RS125) or by the internal workings of the display unit? In short, will replacing the GPS antenna fix the problem?

RS125 didn't like the last GPS date rollover. An Rs130 or above will fix it.

Perhaps a pedantic matter, but it isn't an antenna, it's a GPS receiver. The C80 can use GPS input from any GPS receiver, providing it can be connected either using NMEA or SeaTalk.
