. At close to £2k for HD digital and the cable, it's a very expensive option. You will also need a crossover coupler, and an additional cable, then if you decide to add a second display, a hub/switch.

Was quoted alone the lines of £2600.00(ish) for E90 and around £3k for the E120 and for the HD Digital Radome it was going to be circa £1700.00 so anywhere between 4k and 5k to change ..... Yip not a cheap decision. ... Better go do some research on Garmin .... thought this was all supposed to be easy ???

Look at the measurements i posted too, looks like you couls squeeze a 12" Garmin in, or at the worst, 10".

If I where you I would add an extra E80 or E120 if it fits, thats all,

The Raymarine kit, you already know, works on hundreds of boats satisfactory, the radar, etc... everything can remain in place,
Believe me, you don't need a digital radar, nor a VGAX display

and leave the Garmin stuff for your next boat.
