You could always just give it to the RNLI. Or ask IPC to send the cash equivalent to them instead.

The cash equivalent from Raymarine pioint of view must be about 15 quid for plastic thing with bit of lectronix in it. The rest is all mariketing see, which includes expenive items like advertising, and erm giving them away on websites to get people to buy them ....tho if you have one, you're immediately not really a propective customer are you? Not like chocolate bars when you get hooked. ...unless you needed two - which you would already have tho (qv) and long be4 they gave you another...
