The price of these has plummeted in my direction ,£399 ! is it worth buying now or is something about to go out of date ? and where is the best place for med charts ? are they user friendly ? any experiences of these would be appreciated , thanks ,grafozz

I believe they are now end of line. Nice units for what they are, but expensive to add depth (DSM module) to it, and dont support AIS which the new low end Raymarine ones tend to.

If it meets what you want to do as a chartplotter then yes, can be a good bargain at the moment, just check it does what you need, and remmeber to factor in the cost of charts, alot of Raymarine and garmin plotters now come bundled with charts, or the option of it, which can make them competitive when you add it all up.
