Bit embarrassing this. A previous call for Pi help connected me to a very helpful member who sent me copious notes of his work with a pi on his boat. It came to nothing at the time because pi werent available but they now are. Anyway I have the notes he made save to the PC but in doing so I have lost his identity!

And some of the notes need translation for a dummy - me.

Thanks Stingo. Its a really stupid mistake on my part. He gave me pages of helpful info and even offered the loan of a pi when they werent available immediately post lockdow but nowehere have I found his name.
