Rant: Ramsgate - the worst marina in the UK?

Guapa thanks for that video of Robert,what a character. I was there in July,and we had a couple of junkies sneak on the boat in the middle of the night. I managed to deal with it before the old bill turned up,his response: "you should have killed them" !!
A big shout for Ramsgate Saturday market,some krayzee tattoos especially the guy with a massive Freddy Kruger face across his chest,never buttons his shirt up even in winter.

I have always found the HM @ Tidemill helpful and don't recall any problems with being given an inappropriate berth. When I last visited the HM was on hand (without being asked) to give a hand berthing and then when departing the following day.

Agreed regarding Titchmarsh, some of the berths can be quite a challenge to get into if there is any wind blowing and having hoops rather than cleats on the pontoons adds another dimension to the experience.

Perhaps Tidemill was just a one off then.

Titchmarsh is our nemesis! Something seems to go wrong every time we go in!
