Just a point on the Deben entrance, on the way in, I calculated that I would/should not see less than 1.9m under my keel at about high water and that included a bit for confidence, it went down to .9m and I was a bit concerned, however on the way out it was spot on or a bit more than shown on the chart let. I had obviously gone off line by not much on the way in, I tracked out on about 185 deg from the green to the red and it was unremarkable, mostly about 2m or more under the keel.
On talking to someone later they said that the channel was very narrow this year, about 8m wide at its narrowest?
They don't do food on a Monday night, so I doubt drinkers will be frowned on.
