No issues, it's regularly dredged, just make sure enter and leave the harbour through the one and only set of cans in the outer harbour, for some reason, some skippers don't then have an embarrassing wait for the tide as they get stuck on the sandbank. 🙈

There are particularly low tides as the moment but call Port Control PRIOR to entry on Channel 14 and they will look after you, being a working port, they are very professional.

There has been a couple of NtM. All you need to do is goto: Notices to Mariners, select the area 'Havengore to Dover'. The UKHO notices in that area are listed chronologically - most recent first. For your specific question the most recent was in Week 10 this year - a couple of depths but unlikely to hamper a yacht. Then further back to week 24 of 2022 there are some depths reductions in the Outer Harbour. Worst is 3m at CD in the middle of the entrance. Taht reported in 2022 and there was a dredging campaign in April this year.

The NtM weekly service is illustrated, all downloadable and is FREE 💥

There a couple of weeks ago.
No problems at all and loads of space.
Some of the finger berths are tad short.
Old photo at LW doubt stuff has changed much at the entrance ?

:)

They did it a few months back.
Is is actually 3m now at LAT or just dredged a bit deeper than it was?

I’ve not been this year but in the recent past I’ve scraped in and got stuck leaving with 1.9m draft at LW, following the correct channel of course.
