I was in Ramsgate over the weekend, and as so many have had queries about the depths in the marina, here's an update.
Visitors are usually directed to rows E, F, and G.
The dredging of the west marina has progressed to the point where there is one area left to do, between D and E. Between F and G the fingers are still missing, but are being overhauled and will be replaced shortly - in the meantime if you go in there you tie up alongside and may be asked to raft at busy times.
I was actually in C (go to the fuel barge and turn left) and I had 2.5m at LW, and plenty of depth routing out of the marina just before LW.
Incidentally the water-company H&S stuff about hoses has now reached Ramsgate, and the hoses have gone. However you can borrow one from the office on payment of a deposit.

What we need is a medium size tug for a day, I reckon, and we could fix it!

thats about right, just seems that very short shoal w/nw of the bouys, down to 2 ft under the keel these days at LW.
Must have missed you at the weekend, we arrived early friday and left saturday morning, then onto queenborough for the night.

Just to say that I was there on Sunday and they directed me to a berth in 'D', but an hour before low water I could not get far up the aisle before running aground. I need 1.8. Managed to back out.
Fingers are still missing on E and F
Ramsgate week may be interesting this year if they have not sorted themselves out.

I was in there on Sunday night. Was directed to between F and G, and ended up near the wall. Low tide was about 0.8 and I have about 2.6 water. So not yet the claimed 2.5 through out closer to 1.8. Also very shallow when I turned adjacent to the east pontoon where bigger boats used to be directed. I dragged up mud a couple of hours before low water, about 80 feet of the pontoon.
