For some peculiar reason i have found a raggie jumper on board my boat. I can tell it's raggie cos it has very serious labels in it about how efficient it is, and discreet "designer" labels indicating that it's obviously a highly important item of equipment, and not a manky M+S 15quid jobbie. Also it is a grim dark grey. Anyway, it doesn't fit me very well so i may as well get rid.

Now, the question is what sort of raggie would come on a dreaful old stinkie boat? Surely not one who wd enjoy lounging about on the forward sunpad, or feel "millionairish" at the sight of the wake?

It has probably been infected with gremlins so when you take it inside to the warm they will escape and infect your boat. This is an old raggie trick to keep you tied up with mechanical and electrical problems. Almost as bad as a computer virus but you wern't to know, were you?

Once infected it is very difficult to get rid of the wee buggers but for a fee I am sure jimi or claymore will assist in the ritual.

Re: Shop soiled

You describe it as "a grim dark grey". Could it once have been white and you have stored it carelessly in a place near your exhausts? Have you held it up to critical daylight and checked? It might of course be dead trendy taupe, though this is most unlikely. Personally I believe the colour (is now) verdigris on account of exposure to excessive amounts of copper.

I feel we should be told.
