Rafting on buoys

That is my idea of hell too.

We were anchored on Monday night -

The only other boat that is visible (just) in the piccie was unoccupied on her mooring.

It was sunny, as you can see, and hot. I've been to Hoedic but it was fifteen years ago; i think things might have changed a bit.
 
I've been on the visitors' buoys at Itchenor when given the ' we're leaving at dawn ' idiot unfriendly treatment by selfish gits trying to keep the buoy to themselves; the obvious answer is ' well enjoy your trip, won't worry us as we'll be made on to the buoy, we'll give you a hand off if you like ' - of course they never do ...

Even better, give them a friendly (loud) knock on the hull at dawn, and remind them that they should be leaving.
