Radar Scanner is fixed on the Radar Arch , if a Radar Reflector is fixed on the same arch will it cause interference on the radar ? or is it better to fit the reflector on the coach roof away from the Scanner.
Ian
Doesn't seem to, AFAIK. It's so close in that its width is irrelevant in relation to the width of the scanner. And it's too close to be received as a target, as the pulse timing effectively precludes that.
It's a tricky one to say with total accuracy. Yes it's too close to be received as a target as the radar will be in transmit (ie not receive) mode. If the pulse is prevented by travelling further then you're likely to have a blind spot behind the reflector - a bit like an eclipse.
The reflector is also likely to bounce the signal - so watch your ovaries/gonads!!
Doubt it would interfere, but it may well cause a radar blind area. Better mounted above the scanner so scanner has a clear view and reflector is as high as poss.
