I have a non-functioning Autohelm (Raymarine) ST50 Radar where the scanner will not rotate under power, I've taken the scanner down from the mast and disconnected the display unit.
Can anyone recommend a good Raymarine Service agent in the Kent/ South East London area? Would I be better off to return the unit to Raymarine themselves, and if so, does anyone have a contact name at Raymarine's headquaters that I can speak to?
Thanks

Had similar problem with mine at start of season.

Problem traced to a cable tie that must have rotated while the I had been working on the mast (in horizontal position). The locking piece on the tie was protruding high enough to stop the antenna rotating. Fortunately I spotted it just as I was about to start and remove the whole assy. Turned the cable tie a few inches and I was back in business.

What a relief I was preparing myself for the worst.

It may be worth checking that the antenna is free to rotate by hand 360 degrees.

Also check the safety cord that you have tied to the dome, I ended up disconnecting mine in order to stop it fouling the array.
