I don't know if anyone remembers, but I bought my first boat back in November last Year, a '79 Fairline Holiday.
Anyhow, very long story short, I was royally ripped off with it and it turned out to be a bit of a lemon, and one of it's many faults was that the leg wouldn't lift.
Another very long story short, I ended up having the entire outdrive replaced, which took Months.
The boat was returned a few weeks ago, I wandered down to test it...and the leg won't lift.
Numerous phone calls and texts to the engineer who did the work have gone ignored.
So, nearly a year on, not one single trip out on a working boat, and many thousands of pounds alter and it's back to square one.
Remind me again that this boating lark is supposed to be fun?!
