Question for Channelyacht regarding PLB's

Following on from the latter end of the "Radio check over" thread and Nigel's posting of the link from the stinkie forum concerning registering beacons would the information requested not be the same as already submitted on the CG66?

And if you don't register your beacon, how do they know whose CG66 record to pull up?

Indeed - CG66 is a very informal thing and could not be regarded as a definitive source of information. The Beacon Registry is an international database.

Yes that's correct I did that first, it was CG 66 that was prompted by the thread, all done now thank you.
